Black tie
This typically refers to tuxedos and formal gowns.

Formal, black tie optional
References a suit and tie for men or dresses for women.

Semi-Formal/Dress to Impress
A suit and tie for men or cocktail dress for women.

Cocktail Attire
Suits and tie for men and party dresses for women.

Beach or Garden Party Attire
This can range from summer suits and summer dresses to proper footwear for the outdoors.

Casual
Business casual with button down shirts or polos and summer sundresses or skirt and pants with a blouse for women.

Dress: White
This line would refer to any specific color theme you are wanting your guests to wear.
